Giving

At Christ Church, we believe that giving financially is just one of the ways we worship God. We believe that it is God who gives us our talents, our possessions, our finances, and our opportunities and therefore we look to honour Him with them.

So, we invite you to join us as we worship God together by giving joyfully, regularly, and generously into the work of the church so we can make a greater impact in our city and around the world.

Planning your Visit

Welcome

No matter where you are from, if you have previous experience of church or not, we know it can be an intimidating thing to come to a new church for the first time. We believe that if you come to Christ Church you will find a warm welcome from people who will try their best to help you feel at home. We will explain anything that you don't understand, and will make sure you've enjoyed your time with us as much as possible. Whether you are new to Birmingham or to church, we would love to meet you.

Sunday

We meet every Sunday at South Aston United Reformed Church.
There's a car park available and also on-street parking.
Please join us at 10 am for refreshments.
Our service starts at 10:30 am and you are welcome to stay for lunch with us which we have fortnightly.

What to expect

A typical service at Christ Church lasts an hour and a half. We start with a time of singing (we call it worship) we have news from our churches around the world and a relevant message based on the Bible. We focus on Jesus and teach messages that can be put into practice right away. There is an opportunity to be prayed for and we regularly have communion.

Children

We love having children with us and do not mind them making noise. We have a table for primary age children in the same hall for children to colour and do a craft during the talk.
For babies and toddlers, we have a  staffed creche fornightly and on other weeks a  space where you can play with your children
We have clear safeguarding procedures in place to ensure that your children are safe and well cared for while they are with us.
